e-Learning is changing education, and the pace of change is accelerating with each new tool. Digital tools are continuously emerging and developing with the possibility of helping teachers and students recognise and realise their potential to adapt and change the way teaching and learning occur. Within this framework, and as part of the National e-Learning Strategy, the Curriculum Management and e-Learning Department (CMeLD) within the Education Department has for the past years been encouraging all schools to take on the challenge of embedding ICT across the curriculum to promote creativity and innovation. The culmination of the work done in our ten colleges during scholastic year 2008-2009 was reached and displayed during a three day event organised by CMeLD: ‘EMBED 2009: Best Use of ICT’.
