Moshi Monsters encourages writing

Margaret Young, class teacher at Port of Menteith  Scotland, talks about how she used Moshi Monsters to engage the children in problem solving and functional writing task. The children had to imagine what Monstro City would look like and what people might want to do if they visited it. As a result the Monstro City Tourist Guide was created by the children. The Moshi Monster world is based on solving problems to earn “Rox” that you can spend on your monster.
