The third session’s main objective is to give the children an opportunity to refine their use of the Bee-Bot, while they discover how the use of a digital microphone can be loads of fun. During the session the children will be introduced with farm animals and their respective sounds. Some animlas the children might be familiar with but others may be more challenging for them. The Bee-Bot is used in an activity where the children are to match the sound to the respective picture whilst the microphone is used for the children to record their own voice mimicing the animals.

Last Novemeber, Year 3 students from Mellieha Primary were invited at San Miguel Resource Centre to take part, together with students from the same centre, in activities about our senses. Besides reaching the instructional targets of tackling the human senses with our students, we also aimed to reach the educational target of inclusion. In fact, this activity proved to be a very positive experience to promote inclusion between students from Mellieha Primary and students attending San Miguel Resource Centre
Many teachers do not have the time to search for new online resources. So the following is a great link to a portal for all dedicated teachers who have access to an internet space in their school. Even if these links are not used in class, it is suggested that the links are given to students. The areas covered are Digital Storytelling, Maths, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies and there is also an area for web tools.
