The children of Hamrun Primary GP have been engaging in eTwinning Projects since the very beginning of the programme. They participated in the Europe-wide balloon release on the 5th of May 2010 at 12:00 CET. The children waited eagerly for noon to come, and prepared the balloons for release:

The kindergarten children of Fgura Primary A celebrated eTwinning’s 5th birthday with lots of colourful balloons and songs. They wore eTwinning hats with the eTwinning logo on it, and had a special celebration, complete with an eTwinning cake. At 12:00 CET, the balloon release took place from the school yard.
Young children from Gzira Primary school have participated in the 5th Year celebrations by singining their own special happy birthday song and baking an eTwinning cake. Before cutting into the cake, they blew out five candles, each one signifying a year of eTwinning.
The children of Fgura Primary A, together with their Kindergarten teacher Ms. Marianne Schembri, have celebrated eTwinning’s 5th Birthday with this stop-motion animation.
The children in Ms. Maria’s class sang their own special eTwinning Birthday song, accompanied by their teacher on the guitar. Afterwards, they celebrated with a delicious eTwinning Birthday cake. Happy 5th Birthday, eTwinning!
eTwinning’s 5th Birthday was celebrated on the 5th May at St Ignatius College, Siggiewi Primary School’s hall where all school pupils were present. Year 3 pupils from Ms Catherine Bezzina’s class presented a brief description about eTwinning and the project which they had been working on throughout this scholastic year, ‘A Snapshot of Europe’. While children were reading, a short video about the project was being shown. Activity ended with children waving their balloons and singing happy birthday. All pupils were presented with a certificate of participation in the eTwinning project.
The students of Rabat Girls’ Secondary School (Gozo), have celebrated eTwinning’s fifth birthday by baking two special cakes: a dark chocolate cake, and a cake covered in marzipan with the eTwinning logo on top. Well done to the students and to their teachers!
The students of Sacred Heart Senior School, St. Julians, Malta, have celebrated eTwinning’s 5th Birthday by participating in a balloon release, and singing happy 5th birthday to eTwinning. They have also prepared some original paper birthday cards for the occasion.
The children of Gozo College, Xewkija Primary School, have celebrated eTwinning’s Birthday by baking a special celebration cake. The children followed all the steps for baking the cake by following the instructions their teacher had prepared on their Interactive Whiteboard.
