Why should you apply for this label?

1. The National Quality Label is a concrete recognition to teachers of high level of eTwinning activities. It also shows that the teacher has a commitment to quality and the ability to work collaboratively.
2. This certificate will automatically give you the opportunity in taking part in the Annual eTwinning National Awards competition where the best collaborative projects will be awarded.
3. Having this label will entitle you to be invited for the eTwinning National Awards ceremony for the presentation of a printed version of this certificate.
4. If both you and your project partner are granted the National Quality Label, then you will also be granted the European Quality Label which entitles you to participate in the European Awards.

What are the criteria to be granted this label?

1. Pedagogical Innovation and Creativity: Show how your project displays an innovative approach to teaching and learning and the creative ways you used to carry out the activities related to the project and to create the final product.
2. Curricular Integration: Show how the project is integrated into the curriculum and which of its aspects it tackles.
3. Collaboration between partner schools: Show how the project was planned between the partner teachers and the role of each partner. Show what kind of collaboration there was between the pupils taking part of the project.
4. Creative use of ICT: State which tools and devices were used in the project and how they were significant for the accomplishment of the project results.
5. Sustainability and Transferability: Show how the project could be expanded upon and how it could be used as a template for others to reproduce a similar project.
6. Results and Benefits: Show what the outcomes of the project were and what the benefits were for the participants and their schools.
   How can you apply for this label?

In the section My Projects on your eTwinning profile, you will find a link “Apply for Quality Label” in the middle column of your project. Click on the link and fill in the details requested. Once you submit the form, a copy will be sent to the Malta National Support Service for evaluation. You will be notified once you are granted this label or contacted if any of the criteria mentioned above have not been met.

Exhibited art works varied quite a lot. These ranged from various methods of paintings, embroidery, crochet, statues, ganutell, ceramics, garments, mosaic and even bonsai.

Youtube is a great medium for sharing such a wonderful experience with everyone and keeping the memory of this exhibition alive.

Din saret bejn it-Tnejn 22 u l-Ġimgħa 26 ta’ Frar. Mit-Tnejn sal-Ħamis saru attivitajiet għat-tfal kollha - inklużi dawk tal-Kindergarten - ġewwa l-iskola stess. Dawn l-attivitajiet kienu jinkludu sessjonijiet ta’ qari dwar is-separazzjoni tal-iskart, iż-żriegħ ta’ żerriegħa differenti ġo kontenituri, treasure hunt dwar l-ismijiet tas-siġar li għandna ġewwa l-iskola tagħna u tħawwil ta’ siġra taż-żebbuġ ġo waħda mill-konok li għandna l-iskola. Il-Ġimgħa 26 ta’ Frar iċċelebrajna din il-ġimgħa b’attivita’ oriġinali ħafna. Organizzajna ħarġa għall-Buskett għat-tfal kollha, il-ġenituri u l-istaff kollu tal-iskola. Kemm it-tfal kif ukoll il-ġenituri kienu impenjati f’diversi attivitajiet b’temi ambjentali. Kulħadd ħa gost u smajna ħafna kummenti pożittivi. The club has invited two very well renowned WCF all breed judges from Italy Ms Olga Dentico and Mr. Francesco Picinali to judge the cats according to their various categories.

The show will also be holding Rings for distinct features within each different class of feline, namely Adult Cats, Neutered Cats and Kittens. Three Speciality Rings will also be held for bi-colour, solid and Tabby coloured cats. All pure breeds can participate in the Show Rings. Titles will be given tothe best two cats within each selected category which will go on to compete for the title of Master in upcoming shows. At the end of the show two cats will compete for the title of General Best Cat.

The club would once again be inviting Ms Rita Giordano to the Show. Ms Giordano rescues abandoned cats with the help of the Animal Ambulance. NS Gordano was present at the last MFGC Cat Show and nine cats were found a good home. Thus this show would present the perfect opportunity for those who wish to adopt an abandoned cat.

Doors are open from 9.30am-7.30pm. All members of the public are invited to vote for their favourite cat and for the best decorated cage. With every entrance ticket each person receives a 5 Euro voucher exchangeable at Derek’s Garden Centre.

The President of the club, Mr. Kevin Charles Micallef, would thanks to all the committee members for their hard work. A special thanks is also being extended to the sponsors, Royal Canine and Micabliss Persians.

All exhibitors will again have the opportunity to win a weekend break for two at the Phoenicia Hotel. The book, which is the first publication on dyslexia in the Maltese language, was the result of an EU-project, Socrates/Grundtvig2, DyPaTec (Dyslexia, Parents and Teachers working together), funded by the European Commission. It is the joint work of an interdisciplinary and intercultural team from the fields of education, linguistics, psychology and medicine, together with parents of children with dyslexia.

The guidebook on reading and writing difficulties, including dyslexia, is not only useful for parents but also for teachers and specialists who may want to refer to the guide when talking to parents about the child with dyslexia.
